BenMAP-CE is a open-source computer program that calculates the number and economic value of air pollution-related deaths and illnesses. The software incorporates a database that includes many of the concentration-response relationships, population files, and health and economic data needed to quantify these impacts.

This website provides a map of evacuation routes throughout the county. It maps out the route from a specific address and can show locations of shelters, gas stations with back-up generators, and home supply goods carrying emergency supplies.

A free smartphone app that provides residents with information and tools to prepare for a disaster, and with the ability to report damage to their home or business in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. It also provides information about shelters, directions and evacuation orders.

A Website from the Florida Division of Emergency Management that helps families, businesses or people with special needs create an emergency plan.   Persons with special needs can also register in the Florida Special Needs Registry, which will help the local emergency management agency and first responders provide assistance during a disaster. You will receive important formation from local emergency management officials about evacuations and sheltering options.  You can register.  Call 800-374-9689 if you have additional questions.

This website is maintained by the Unitarian Universalist Justice Florida’s Climate Resilience Ministry. It was established by the Green Sanctuary Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton. The community pilot projects, on which the Community Toolkit was based, were undertaken in partnership with Developing Interracial Social Change (DISC) and Habitat for Humanity in  Boca Raton, Florida; and Toussaint L’Ouverture High School for Arts and Social Justice in Delray Beach, Florida. Project Director for that effort was Janice T. Booher, MS. Pilot Project Manager Phase I was Dr. Ana Puszkin-Chevlin. Pilot Project Manager Phase II was Debra Weiss-Randall, Ed. D, CHES.
