Training Session 2 for Outreach Teams that Need more Outreach Training (Optional)

  • Pass out all forms and the Climate and Health Information Sheets to all participants and tell them that since they live in the neighborhood, they will each be their own first household reached
  • Go through the protocol that Outreach Communicators will be expected to use in the neighborhood. They can work in pairs if needed.
  • Make sure Outreach Leaders understand the Outreach Leader Report forms and your procedure for tracking any stipends you will be giving to the Outreach Leaders, Outreach Communicators or residents.
  • Train and role model conversing with residents. Make the training appropriate for neighborhood canvassing or tabling at community events as needed.
  • Next Steps:

o Check in with the Outreach Leaders periodically to see if they need any support.
o Identify Outreach Communicators who missed Training Session 1. Support them by giving them the link to the training video in English or Creole, or getting them support to get up to speed about Climate and Health.
